Industrial design applied to the music cassette: The revolution of Suono.
Although Giugiaro Design was forced to observe somewhat limiting parameters when creating his music cassette because it was bound to comply with standards of adaptability to all playing systems, the project lead to the definition of an object with a shape that featured a distinctive lowering of the area in the space between the pins: a hollow a few tenths of a millimetre deep that traces out a round crater-like motif like an arena. Hence the name Suono, in homage to the Italian musical tradition
