Created on Fiat Ritmo/Seat Ronda project, it's another three box to two box derivation, Fiat Ritmo.

Because of production costs, the only stylistic possible changes are the cowling and the rear area.
Malaga is a three box berline certainly not "new" but coherent to the Spanish brand brief, and in the first year of production it sells about 100.000 cars.
