Vision

“One of the loveliest, most fascinating automobiles ever built”, Compasso d’oro 2004.
The Alfa Romeo Brera is a stunning example of Italdesign’s heritage. Introduced as a concept car at the 2002 Geneva motor show, awarded with the Compasso d’Oro by ADI as one of the best-looking and appealing cars ever produced, the Brera  became a production car and made its debut on the market in 2005. Created by Giorgetto Giugiaro, the Brera embodies the essence of the Alfa Romeo brand, reflecting a harmonious blend of elegance and advanced technology. It stands as a contemporary classic, showcasing both timeless aesthetics and innovative engineering that define Italdesign’s legacy.

Key Highlights

The Brera’s sleek coupé form is crafted with a lightweight carbon fiber body, emphasizing both beauty and function. Its distinctive rear design, featuring bold lines and a sculpted shape, enhances its dynamic, sporty character. The innovative door mechanism allows for upward opening, minimizing space requirements and offering enhanced accessibility with just 360 mm of protrusion. The Brera’s prototype was so well-received that it influenced Alfa Romeo’s design language throughout the 2000s.
