Our User Experience and Software Development team offers tailored solutions for automotive and other industries. The UX team leads in user research and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) interaction design, using a user-centric approach to create seamless and intuitive experiences. On the software side, we develop infotainment systems for production vehicles and prototypes, integrating AI, digital services. The team develops also components instrument clusters, displays, switches, and sound systems. This ensures a cohesive and engaging experience for drivers and passengers.

At Italdesign, Virtual Reality (VR) and Mixed Reality (MR) are integral to the early design phase. Advanced tools for 3D modeling and immersive visualization streamline decisions without physical models. This dynamic, collaborative approach accelerates prototyping, enhances quality, and fosters innovation in a shared virtual environment, bridging distances and ideas.

Equipped with six milling machines and rapid prototyping technology, Italdesign ensures precision in creating both detailed components and complete models. In-house capabilities also include lighting, plexiglass, saddlery, and paintshop departments, allowing to produce demonstrators.

Italdesign utilizes advanced rapid prototyping methods like FDM technology, to convert CAD data into high-quality structural parts quickly and affordably. The team collaborates closely with designers to enhance feasibility and ensure optimal product quality. This agile approach allows for rapid iterations, leveraging both 3D printing for complex geometries and expert manual finishing, ensuring that the final product meets all project requirements and specifications.
