Italdesign Deutschland (IDD) is expanding its engineering activities in automotive Interior Trims Department and is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic System Team Leader, located in Ingolstadt, who will be one of the referent of the Seat Development Department Teams located in Moncalieri (Italy). S/he coordinates the development of Automotive Seat in all variants with the support of an international and multi-discipline team and will be responsible to reach the targets of the assigned field of development.

Responsibilities

The System Team Leader is both the leader of the team and the representative of Technical Development in the project for the defined range of characteristics, functions and components.

In this role, s/he is the interface of the Project Team toward other departments of the customers involved in the different phases of Project/Product development, like purchasing, commercial, production, logistic, finance, quality.

S/he will take an active part in:

  • Supporting projects during the development phase, from concept to industrial production, taking care of all issues regarding costs, quality, deadlines and addressing them to the corresponding responsible;
  • Being the main interface of Italdesign, both internal and external, in front of customer’s departments;
  • Ensuring a proper information exchange among Italdesign team members and the whole AUDI Team;
  • Arrange, own, steer and manage weekly SE-Meetings: identify relevant attendees, send invitations and Agenda, prepare Minutes;
  • Report relevant topics to the intern/client Project management meetings (Project team/TC);
  • Support the Team-Leader from Italdesign to prepare technical-documentations and special meetings/events;
  • Collect, check and manage the documentation of Seat Suppliers on given project;
  • Check with project team leaders and with the customer referencee the appropriate time to make advancement on projects and move on to further stages;
  • Carryout constant evaluation and adjustment to ensure that project goals are reached in the proper time and at being on line respect to budget forecast;
  • Maintain direct and open interaction with managers to make sure all resources needed for the project are available and also consider the negotiation of amendments to project plans to achieve proper results.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of system team leader activities is requested
  • Good knowledge of the PEP, Project Milestones, AUDI Group Structure and Organization, AUDI Group Processes, Software (AVON, TEVON, KVS, RGS/Status.E,…) and Standards is required
  • knowledge and experience in interior engineering development

Preferential requirements

  • Quality standards, processes, dynamics according to customer (OEM) process and requirements
  • Knowledge of VW-Group systems/tools
  • Technical background and knowledge of seat product
  • Ability to disseminate and transfer methodology and know-how in his/her own project team and to the rest of the department teams
  • Knowledge of Systems Engineering theory
  • experience in the requested activity/fields.

Other Informations

  • Education: Bachelor/Master’s Degree (in Engineering is preferred).
  • Language skills: Fluent knowledge of written and spoken German and English (minimum B2 level). Knowledge of Italian would be appreciated.
