The Consorzio Alta Langa and Italdesign have collaborated again to celebrate Piedmont’s excellence with a new frappeuse, designed to keep Alta Langa DOCG wines at the ideal temperature. Presented to wine producers in Pollenzo (Cuneo – Italy) , the frappeuse features a stackable, compact structure with two shells joined by a flexible seam, making it practical for transport and versatile in various settings.
Enrico Lago, Italdesign Team Leader for the Industrial Design, explained that the frappeuse design draws inspiration from Piedmont’s three-lobed, iconic features, like the ‘Tonda Gentile’ hazelnut, the three lobes of the vine leaves adorning the vineyards, and the rolling hills of Alta Langa, and that it combines aesthetics and function. .
Consorzio President Mariacristina Castelletta praised the frappeuse as a high-end, elegant tool that embodies the Alta Langa DOCG experience, blending wine and design into an iconic object.
