The removable roof incorporates an electric motor, which is operatively connected to the lock mechanisms in arder to move them between the respective unlocked and locked configurations; automatic Jocking of the electric locks, activated when both selectors are pressed simultaneously, reducing the risk of unwanted unlocking.

Inspired by the concept of “Never lost”, the Quintessenza’s HMI system enables the perfect integration of the occupants with the outside world. Thanks to this logic, the passengers of the Quintessenza always has a clear indication of where he/she is headed in any driving circumstance.

Optical assembly with the possibility of customizing the shape and size of a rear position light and more generally of a light intended for a signaling function (such as a stop light or a rear turning indicator), both outside and inside the vehicle; possibility to design on one’s own personal device, such as a tablet or smartphone, a desired shape of illumination of a light in an optical assembly by means of software local or remote to the vehicle; recognition of the shapes permitted to be reproduced, e.g. via a short-range wireless communication protocol (Wi-Fi, ZigBee, Bluetooth or similar); user interface computer environment created as a resident application on a user’s personal mobile telecommunications device; lighting or signaling function of the optical assembly for association of a time, place, driving condition.

Reducing the costs of complete replacement of components housed in the chassis and/or related to the restyling of the vehicle; maximum flexibility regarding the dimensions and shapes of the light generated by the lighting assembly without compromising the energy efficiency of the lighting assembly: overall dimensions of the light assembly miniaturized to carry out simple replacement in the event of damage and/or in restyling the vehicle: possibility of creating additional space inside the chassis to integrate new functions such as Lidar or Radar devices for ADAS; maximum flexibility regarding the size, color, intensity and shape of the light generated by the assembly (LED lights, laser lights, etc.); optical fibers divided into their respective bundles.
